About the GitHub Scholars Program

The GitHub Scholars Program focuses on providing selected participants an opportunity to learn how to jump start their career in technology. Some of the opportunities GitHub Scholars experience include:

• Vist a technology company in their area
• Create a GitHub account
• Learn interview skills, create a resume and LinkedIn profile
• Access to a device like a Kano
• Learn coding and Git version controls
• Plan a community improvement project with other Scholars
