In groups of no more than 4-5 people, the GitHub Scholars used personal experience and past intuition to identify 9 social impact projects that they found important and relatable. They designed these projects in order to better facilitate positive change around them, targetting their peers, communities, and all like-minded induviduals who might be unsure if there is a place within the tech industry for them.
